Im gonna loweffortpost this since NSFW is full of junkie retards but maybe this might help some noob who is starting out or considering vending from making a bad decision.
The following attack has been documented in a few arrest reports, the first case i saw this was a small scandinavian weed vendor from years ago and the last i read a psychedelic vendor tripwithscience.
So it works like this, where do you drop your packages? Post offices? Fuck no, there have been dozens of vendors arrested this way since the postal clerks remember things like your face and your packs. Peoples mailboxes? Good way to alert the police and lose your orders. Pickup at a business? Not unless you are letting them in on your illegal operation.
Blue drop bins hidden all over town? Thats the one, except there only so many of them and thats how they get you. The scandinavian police were the first to figure this one out, they placed their people over a certain area watching the boxes and profiled people as they approached the box recording their plates as they left the area, then opened the box to confirm it matched the pack from their undercover buy. And they dont need to hit every box, just enough over a few days and you will land on one they are watching, then its over. Its a real life sybil attack.
Tripwithscience must of seen this coming so he hired drop guys in other states/countries that he sent his product to in bulk along with the orders thinking that if they got caught it wouldnt come back to him. When the feds went after him they did this attack and nabbed one of his guys thinking it was him. The guy flipped of course except he had no info other than where the bulk packs where coming from. The feds had the clerks monitor the post offices in trips locations and of course you cant send bulk stuff without either going in a PO or having a business pickup location and they nabbed his partner at the PO dropping off one of the bulk packs.
So where do you drop if you cant use blue boxes? Community mailboxes like you would find in apartments or in new housing developments. What does that mean for your packages? If you are shipping anything that doesnt sit flat in a small bubble mailer or letter, you are opening yourself up to getting caught that all the mastery of tor monero and pgp wont save you from. The days of shipping bulk are over, everything must be a powder, tab or wax.
