BOXING. FTID. SCAN.
Boxing is used to manipulate package tracking by simulating that the package was returned to the seller, damaged, or lost.
This is accomplished using FTID.
FTID: a fictitious tracking number used to deceive businesses to your advantage.
You are also aware of SCANS, which are performed using access to the courier service's tracking management system.
Types of FTIDs:
FTID v1: The return label is not editable. Only the contents of the box are replaced. Unpopular method.
FTID v2 method involves removing personal/order details (RMA, sender address, tracking number) to prevent the company from finding your order.
FTID v3: The FTID will be delivered to the same zip code, but not to the specified warehouse on the label. Tracking shows that it was delivered, but to a nearby address.
FTID v5 requires replacing most label information, such as track numbers and barcodes.
FTID v6 (LIT is a type):
Used a damaged box. And, most likely, the courier will discard this package and initiate an investigation into the damaged package, or dispose of it.
FTID v7 (LIT, one of the types):
The label employs disappearing ink. Within 1-2 days, the label fades and contains no address information.
FTID v8 (FTIDna): Use the same label used for shipping the item to your address. After receiving the label, you forward it to the address closest to you. As a result, the store will notice that the parcel was delivered to an incorrect address.
FTID version 9 (FTIDLit) is similar to FTIDna. However, in this case, you redirect the label after it is delivered to you, and it becomes lost in transit (lit).
In FTID v10 (FTID RTS), use the label used for shipping to your address. FTID is sent to the address * specified on the label, and upon delivery, we receive the status "Returned to sender".
Nuances and features.
Not all courier services or countries accept all or most types of FTID.
The FTID types are not written for you to choose from, but to familiarize yourself with the various FTID types.
Sometimes couriers check parcels and discover a fake parcel. The courier may inspect it and discover that your package is empty or that the information inside has been changed.
Given that all of these methods use a physical package, they, like any other legal package, can be delayed, lost, or detected by a smart courier.
Change the edited label to the original one. This occurs after the label has been checked by courier services. After that, you can ask for a new label from the store. Then we will perform a redrop.
Redrop - repeated parcel drop (ftid).
If we're talking about scans, they may be deleted due to technical reasons. And because this is an in-system scan rather than a physical package, you can perform a rescan quickly.
